1. Who we are

MTD Survival Kit is a trading name of Unlock Profit Online Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 15831643), registered office: Office 1, Gloucester House, 23a London Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE2 8AN, United Kingdom. Contact: help@mtdsurvivalkit.co.uk. We are the "data controller" for personal data collected through mtdsurvivalkit.co.uk.

2. What we collect and why

Free Checker requests: your email address, so we can send the download link and a short series of follow-up emails about Making Tax Digital. Lawful basis: consent — you can withdraw it anytime with one click on the unsubscribe link in any email.

Purchases: your name, email address and country, collected by our checkout provider Payhip, so we can deliver your files, send purchase updates and comply with tax law. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation. We never see or store your card details — payments are processed by Payhip and its payment processors (Stripe / PayPal).

Support emails: whatever you send to help@mtdsurvivalkit.co.uk, used solely to answer you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

3. Who processes data for us

We use a small number of processors, each bound by their own GDPR commitments: Payhip Ltd (checkout and delivery), Stripe / PayPal (payment processing), Brevo (email delivery and our mailing list), Netlify (website hosting), and Porkbun / email forwarding for our mailboxes. We do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our own pages set no tracking cookies and run no advertising trackers. The Payhip checkout sets only the cookies necessary for the purchase to work. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security.

5. How long we keep data

Mailing-list data: until you unsubscribe or after a prolonged period of inactivity. Purchase records: 6 years, as required by UK tax law. Support emails: up to 2 years.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email help@mtdsurvivalkit.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
